This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Irving is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Irving follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

0-Star β Absolutely Horrible Experience One of the worst restaurant experiences we have ever had. The food was extremely disappointing, but the attitude and behavior of the staff were even worse. We ordered a particular dish, but what we received was clearly not what we had ordered. We politely brought this to the waiterβs attention, expecting a simple explanation or an attempt to correct the mistake. Instead, the waiter immediately became argumentative and intimidating. Rather than listening to the customer or trying to resolve the issue, he essentially told us: βThis is how we cook. If you donβt like it, pay the bill and leave.β We were honestly stunned. Who speaks to customers this way? We were not being rude, demanding anything unreasonable, or creating a scene. We simply pointed out that the dish we received was not what we ordered. The interaction became so uncomfortable and intimidating that we decided it was simply not worth staying. We paid the bill and walked out without eating the food. Restaurants can have an off day. Food can sometimes be subjective. But disrespecting and intimidating customers when they raise a legitimate concern is completely unacceptable. Th

We had an amazing dinner at Bawarchi! The mutton biryani was absolutely delicious perfectly cooked, flavorful, not too spicy, and not too oily. We also had the butter naan with chicken korma, and it was incredibly good. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. We came all the way from Houston to try Bawarchi after hearing so many great things, and it definitely lived up to the reviews. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious, authentic food!

Bawarchi continues to be one of my favorite places for biryani in the DFW area. The rice was perfectly cooked, the spices were balanced, and the portion size was worth the price. The flavors tasted authentic and the food arrived hot and fresh. Highly recommend for anyone craving good Indian food.

Visited Bawarchi in Irving, TX from NY. The staff was super friendly, and the food came out fast without sacrificing quality. Ordered the Paneer Tikka (dry), Samosas with jalapeΓ±o and cheese, Chicken Lollipop, and Gobi Manchurian. Every single dish was packed with great flavor. You can really tell they care about seasoning and balance. Make sure you know your spice level when ordering. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and incredibly satisfying. If youβre looking for bold flavors and warm hospitality in Irving, TX, this place is a must-visit!

We recently went to Bawarchi with friends for lunch, and we had a great experience overall. As a group, we ordered: 1 Chicken Dum Biryani, 1 Boneless Goat Biryani, 1 Chicken Mughlai (comes with naan - we upgraded to garlic naan for an extra cost), 1 Methi Chaman (comes with naan - upgraded to garlic naan for an extra cost), 1 Chilly Fish, 1 Butter Naan. We asked for everything to be spicy except the chilly fish. The food was excellent - flavorful, well-prepared, and the spice levels were spot-on. Portion sizes were generous, and every dish tasted fresh. Both biryanis were aromatic and satisfying, the curries were rich and well-balanced, and the garlic naans were definitely worth upgrading. The chilly fish was also good even without the extra spice. When we arrived, the restaurant was almost empty, although there was a steady flow of customers picking up carryout orders, which is always a positive sign. The only downside was the slow service. We placed our order with one server and waited, but after some time another server came by and casually asked how the food was. We were surprised and had to tell them we were still waiting for our meal, even though the restaurant wasnβt bu
